Willow Bush Songs

"Not far from my home is a meadow where willow bushes grow. I visit them regularly. They nod as I pass, and when the wind blows they do a dance or, if it's calm, ask if I'd take a moment to chat. They tell me stories - imaginative tales that catch my fancy. Before I know it I'm turning words into songs. Then, after soprano and pianist have put their heart and soul into them and the producer adds his touch, the bushes sit down to listen. Aren't they surprised!"
